Is there a better cartoon on TV? A decade later and the answer to this question is a strong NO. Few news shows deal with current issues and events like South Park has continued to do week after week and with each new season. The Simpsons are a close second, but since they are on "network" TV they are limited in how far they can push the envelope.

From the Beefcake days of the early seasons to Tom Cruise in the closet, this show remains the best on TV of it's kind.

Still hard not to watch when the boys are screaming Respect My Authority and generally disrespecting every single person and group on the planet (and beyond!).

Are you familiar with the episode from season 8 (2004)called "Douche and Turd"? I think everyone should have to watch it. It should almost be a prerequisite for voting. :P ;)

Think I did see some of it, but have seen more of the earlier episodes.
When cartman discovers who is father is, Cartman being the crocodile hunter, when they thought they got periods, the mr hanky christmas episode stand out as a few of the really memorable ones

Ok, did anyone see the episode where Chef joins the Super Adventurous Club? Does everyone know about the details and why this was done? The man who plays chef is a scientologist and left South Park before this episode. This episode was done almost like a slap in the face. They felt they were loosing a good friend to a cult and not a religion. I'm not arguing religious beliefs but this was a dirty episode but VERY VERY VERY hilarious. One of the best one's I've seen.

Also, this is why Chef dies in the end of it.

The funniest part for me was when they got a medical team togethor to transform the guy into an arab which at the end of it all was just tufts of hair randomly stuck on his face.

Team America was too long for me... it was funny but could have been shorter.

Anyone see any of their other movies?
Orgasmo, Baseketball... one more and can't remember the name...s ome musical I believe. That was probably their best by far too.

I've seen Baseketball. I caught it on late night Tv one time, I wasn't even aware they had made it until I actually saw it.

I did enjoy it, but thought it was a little tame. Who is the female lead? Was it Yasmin Bleeth? Tasty anyway.

The best South Park ever has to be Mecha Streisand from season 1. Something about that episode is just so profoundly funny that it still makes me laugh just thinking about it. "Dude, It's Robert Smith from The Cure!" "Disintegration is the best album ever!" Lol. I don't know. They've had "better" episodes since, but that one has a special place in my heart.

I completely agree with you. The Beefcake episode from the first seasons is still my personal favorite of all time.
