Have any of you guys been watching the Sarah Silvermann Program? I used to really enjoy her standup back a couple years ago when she was more popular, and was so excited when I heard she was getting a show. I finally caught an episode of it the other night and must say that i thought it was absolutely hysterical. It was the one where she thinks that she has Aids, and goes on a campaign to make people feel sorry for her. I just about died laughing during her PSA about how 50 billion people contract aids every year. However, I can see where with the state of the Aids epidemic a lot of people might think that she took it too far, and that maybe it's too offensive. I personally think that's what Comedy Central shows are all about, but I'm thinking maybe that's why I haven't heard anyone else talking about it at school or online. What do y'all think? Too much or an awesome show? Or is the rest of the world just like me and incapable of remembering what time it comes on?

| I have mixed emotions about it. Just not sure about it yet. It's funny, don't get me wrong, but funny enough to have multiple seasons... i just don't know.

| I heard her on the Howard Stern show talking about it and they played some clips that were pretty funny. Silverman is a VERY unique comic and you have to "get" her to find her funny. I have not seen the show yet but I plan to.

That's kind of just how Sarah Silvermann is. She kinda just makes you scratch your head and say "huh?" for a minute before you come to the realization that she's really funny. I just hope the rest of the country is willing to pay attention long enough to realize that so her show doesn't get pulled. Anything's better than Mind of Mencia.
The only problem is that I have yet to catch any reruns other than the 12:30 Thursday night ones.

I watched it a few times. She's funny, but I don't like it much. I'd take Mind of Mencia over her any day!

| I've watched it, and can't stand it. I'd watch Mencia and eat dog crap before I watched another episode of Sarah Silverman.

Mencia sucks...
Silverman I think is original and edgy. Her show might actually make it. She could be the new Carol Burnette of this generation.

| lol, Carol Burnette popularity might be a stretch IMO because Silverman will NEVER EVER have wide scale appeal or viewers because many of her topics are so controversial, BUT I do find her incredibly funny AND original and that is very rare on TV today!

She's so strange but cute at the same time. It's like I can't help but love AND hate her. Her show is still pretty stupid though.

I watched one episode of the Sarah Silverman show. She is hillarious. It was the episode about when she thought she had Aids.
She is so obnoxious in her show and at the same time, very funny.

| Ya, thats what killed it for me.. so many advertisements and commercials.. and they were funny but semi retarded.. so I never got into the feeling of WANTING to watch it.. lol

So true. I happen to love her sense of humor. I think her stand up is brilliant, and she is crazy funny on the Stern show. However, I can see why some people wouldn't be into her.
