Now I'm not sure what channel this is on in the US, but it's on Sky One here in the UK and I know it's owned by the Sci-fi channel.
But what are people's thoughts on Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis.
I'm a huge fan of both, and it's a shame to see SG-1 go, but then again 10 seasons was very impressive.
And I absolutely love Atlantis - my other half doesn't, so I purposefully went and bought a DVD boxset, and sat and watched it all only when she was at home.
I like this Elizabeth Weir more than the one that featured in SG-1 (it was a blonde actress in that one, but her name escapes me.)

| Stagate hasn't been on here for a long time that I am aware of. But did love the show and watched it weekly.

I loved watching stargate as well and was watching the re-runs as well i can't get enough of ot lol.
I do like atlantis but somehow i don't think its so good as stargate but i still got to watch it though.

There are two made for DVD movies coming up in the new year sometime.
Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum

Thanks i will be looking out for those but being in the UK, i think it might be a little later though.

Well I like this series...the outer space adventure and mystery is cool...I notice that Star Trek is quite similar with Stargate...

Stargate sort of adopted some of the Star Trek things over the years like beaming and Warp (or hyper drive as sg calls it).
To be honest, I never thought the Movie was that great and was surprised it was made into a tv show, but I love the TV show and have not missed and episode and watch the reruns everyday like I do with Star Trek.

I don't really like the stargate movie either but if it was not for the movie there would not be a TV series, like you i can't get enough of stargate.
I was trying to think of my favorite series or episode but i liked everyone of them.

| I see on SG Atlantis Sam is a full bird colonel now. I guess she got promoted during one of the Stargate specials? Now she is in charge of Atlantis.

I have not seen the movies either as they are not out yet.
I think the movies should of been shown before the start of Atlantis, to fill in some of the blanks.
She replaced Dr.Weir this season on Atlantis after Weir was left on the replicator home world.

| I'm up to season 10 on the DVD set but have only seen one Atlantis episode as of yet.
