MSNBC anchor rips Paris report on air

Paris Hilton may make for juicy copies and soaring TRPs, but not many journalists consider her of “news value”.

American network MSNBC’s reporter-cum-anchor Mika Brzezinski proved a point when she refused to read Hilton’s release report as the top story on her show Morning Joe.

She seemed to hit a breaking point on air when her producer asked her to remain with the story for three hours on end. An exasperated-looking Mika attempted to set the script sheet on fire in one bulletin and later carried it over to the shredder and dispatched it in the next bulletin.

Is this real ...? If so, good for her.

It was real. I thought it was great that she did not. I love this morning show now that MSNBC is free with SHAW Cable in Canada.

I think a lot of people are so sick and tired about Paris but so many still are obsessed...weird. But I still watched her release from jail as being on Pacific time it was not that late.

I wonder what draws people's interest in the likes of her??
