I suffering from Insomnia yet again, I was able to watch all of season one of 'Wonder Woman' and the first 3 episodes of season 2 in 2 days.

I actually liked it when I was 7 when it came out. I thought it was awesome. Even now it still is not bad. Sure the effects look a 'little cheesy' but it is 30 years old. (Man I feel real old now).

Thankfully she hardly ever uses that invisible jet nowadays and flies instead, but still has the jet for the odd occasion.

I keep hearing rumours about a 'Wonder Women' movie and Joss Whedon (From Buffy) is to write and/or direct it. But I am still waiting...

I heard Chyna, Lucy Lawless (Zena), Catherine Zeta Jones, Sandra Bullock , Charisma Carpenter (Buffy/Angel) and others are interested.

I don't know who I would want to play 'Wonder Women' but I would Volunteer to play 'Steve Trevor' though, especially if I got to visit 'Paradise Island' ha ha

The other thing is with "Superman' even though Brandon Routhe did a great job in my opinion, 'Superman' to me will always be Chris Reeve and I think I may be the same with 'Wonder Women' as it may be strange to adjust to someone else other than Lynda Carter playing her.

I hope this new movie gets made, and I would like to see Charisma Carpenter getting the role. But I doubt she will.

Wonder Woman's in Smallville these days isn't she? :)

Lyndia Carter 'Wonder Women' plays Chloes Mother but only in one episode so far.

Lynda returned to the DC Comics' television world on the 2007 episode of Smallville titled "Progeny" playing Chloe Sullivan's Kryptonite-empowered mother.

Warner brothers apparently does not want to make a movie until after 2010.

On 05 October 2007, Nikki Finke wrote in her column that three producers had told her that Warner Bros. president of production Jeff Robinov had stated that, "we are no longer doing movies with women in the lead." [40] Anne Thompson responded in a 09 October 2007 Variety article which stated that, "despite the failure of three femme-centered actioners produced by Joel Silver [...] Jeff Robinov insists he is moving forward with several movies with women in the lead." Thompson further noted that Wonder Woman will be appearing in the upcoming Justice League film and that,

Robinov is still seeking the right script and star for a "Wonder Woman" feature, which has been in development for a decade [...] action features starring women remain a hard sell for many moviegoers. But Robinov said he is still willing to put a femme star into an action role. 'But, like any other movie, it has to be the right movie with the right actor and the right filmmaker at the right time,' he said.

That sucks. I think a stand alone movie would be great. It would be much better than the 70's series special effects wise. She is almost as tough as Superman...
