I love to watch the old black and while movies on TCM- does anyone
else enjoy a good classical movie here? I normally set a day that
that's Saturday to catch 2 - 3 good movies. how about you?

I enjoy a good black and white movie every now and then. Reminds me of how movies use to be made and what made them great before all of the special effects became the most important thing.

funny you mention the effects I get a kick out of the old movie
effects it's neat to be able to sit there and see where they really needed
improvement but I also like how one can follow a clean and innocent
story and how polite people acted and of course scenes where everyone
is holding a cigarette puffing away lol.

you are correct about that. There is a lot of smoking and it was such the norm back then.
James Dean and many others were always smoking.
