I saw a promo trailer for this new MTV show about these two guys/musicians trying to make it in the music biz. Looks decent, but it doesn't seem REAL because here they are with their own TV show. We need something showing the struggle/success of people like musicians from the bottom up.
I'm a struggling musician, who wants to film my everday activities and make a show?

| I heard about that show. Don't think it will be to great though. There's supposedly a show about subway musicians/performers... seems to be more on the lines of what you were talking about. I could be wrong though.

| Laughsalot... the show you are talking about is called NYC Soundtracks. It's a new show on the MSG Network about subway musicians. Saw a preview for it and it looks pretty interesting.

| If a struggling musician came to an audition followed by an MTV camera crew, I think people would perceive them differently...

| Yeah and its a pretty cool show too.. I just voted for he saw lady, she is really good. I see her in the subway on the way to work all the time, just voted for her to move on to the next round of the show because they are letting viewers pick their faves today: http://www.msg.com/votesoundtracks/
