| I occasionally watch if my wife is watching her normal show (The Young and The Restless). Funny how you can know exactly what is going on even if you don't watch every day. the story pretty much stays the same, lol

| My brother and my cousin dont sit down to watch them, but if I am watching General Hospital... and they come in... they will sit and watch it with me and ask me questions... its really funny to see them get into the storyline...

| My husband is addicted to Neighbours and Home and Away. Don't even bother trying to talk to him while they are on.

| I have never been one for neighbours and home and away myself, used to watch neighbours a while ago but sort of lost track and then didn't bother again.

Well you haven't missed much in my opinion. The usual round of unmarried mothers, stalkers, love triangles, people coming back after being killed off etc. I think Home and Away must nearly hold the record for the most stalker plots ever on a soap opera.

I think that was what put me off them, theres hardly ever anything that changes in them usually the same thing but with a little difference.
I usually watch neighbours if I see something goods going to happen thats a bit different lol.
I did read on digital spy that neighbours was having a big makeover, the set was changing and a few people leaving and new people coming in, that was apparently what they was told by the guy that plays Karl Kennedy.

With any luck they may get rid of Karl Kennedy, what a lousy excuse for a doctor. Haven't heard any thing about a shake up but I think it's tonight a much loved neighbour bites the dust. And I get all this just by standing in the kitchen listening to the rubbish, I don't think I could put a name to half the faces, as I rarely watch it but hear it.

| Start a new thread for Neighbours so people can talk about it!

i just want to share my thoughts here. i love to watch soaps, but sometimes, especially when the lead actress/actors are being abused or being downed in the story i refuse to continue watching..
it's because, i'm getting carried away with it and i'm starting to forget that it is only a show

| I used to watch All My Children quite regularly. I was into one many years ago called Ryans Hope. It left the air. My grandmother always watched As The World Turns. lol

I like Coronation Street but the only US one I used to like was Another World but it was cancelled a few years back.
Other than that I just watch news during the day.

| The only soap opera I've really watched and continued watching was Passions. It was interesting a few years ago in my opinion, however, I started to stray away from the television series. I turned the television to Passions and I have almost no idea what happened and new faces begin to appear. I'm not too interested with the show anymore. | I wouldn't watch soaps unless I really had to. As Daveboy said, the storylines are wacky, everyone has an attitude, and horrible acting.
