There is not much going on at the moment, with this soap. Usually if i air the television, I can get into it straight with any show. Eastenders seems to be a bit low hung at the moment, not quite as the directors made it out to be. Even Coronation st has lost its plot latetly. Especially the plot regarding the fallen girl and the three unconvincing scrooges hanging around.

I have also found it quite boring, usually I am sat on the TV watching and can't take my eyes off the TV lol but over the last few weeks I have been sat on the computer and only half paying attention to it, I think really the only story line that is sort of interesting at the moment is the Stella, Phil and Ben one, even though that is starting to drag on a bit now to be honest.

As someone born and bred in the Eastend ... I can agree with Blueangel that the TV show is nothing like it is or was.  I've never heard so much shouting going on ... we were a real friendly bunch ... and why don't they show scenes down petticoat Lane ... we all used to congregate there on Sunday mornings/

.

Some people actually believe that life in Northern England is exactly how it is portrayed in Coronation Street.

As someone born and bred in the East End that show is a load of rubbish.  When I was a kid I remember neighbours helping one another out ... never heard the sort of things that go on in the make believe world of Walford. The pub was the meeting point for most families with kids sitting on the step outside playing games. Suppose if they didn't behave like they do in the tv series it wouldn't be dramatic enough!

Eastenders is by far the worst soap on TV at the Moment.......shame that Phil saves Ben, he should have been drowned at birth anyway, what strikes me funny about this Ben , he was suppose to have lived abroad with `Kathy`...Yet after years there he comes back to walford with an english accent....Ummmm Hello do the producers think we are all thick..:-t

Although not being as dramatic as it used to be, I think Eastenders is at a maturing stage at the moment. Although the script in places is lacking much story. They tend to forget about certain characters when, there is one scene on. So, it really doesn't add up. lol

It has gone rather bland these past few months but some moments have been good.

We've got Stella's comuppance to look forward to soon. Wedding bells are in the air for another couple. Jake's dad turns up shortly too.

Look out tonight for a face that's returned. I expect that will happen right at the end so tomorrow's episode might be worth watching.

You know, I think the only story that would make a dramatic impact would be the marriage of stacey and Bradley. It's taking forever for anyone to find out, that Stacey and Max had an affair. It feels like they have put it off on purpose. I bet they'll switch it back on when Stacey and Bradley get married. It would be good if they did, cause that's about the only ounce of good story we're going to get.

Also the story with Ian and Peter, and their brother showing up doesn't seem to be doing much justice. We never got to find out what happened to Ian? Did we? (Unless I missed an episode)Sooner or later, that Ians son is going to get found out.

Not much happening in general, even the sentence of Dean and Chelsea wasn't that big of a thing.
