I am sorry, but WOWBB is a horrible horrible forum software. It lacks several new features that both Invision Power Board and vBulletin possess. phpBB even has an edge as far as features.
The templates that wowBB uses is aestetically ugly and I honestly think you could do something much better on vBulletin, phpBB, or Invision Board. I own http://ChristianUtopia.com (vbulletin powered) and will gladly help out with designing new elements if you switch over.
It is much harder for me to navigate through this software than most other softwares, and, being technologically savvy, that may drive several lurkers away who would otherwise register and become active.
Even looking at the code, WowBB is out of date. It is valid HTML 4.01 (NOT XHTML), it is riddled with tons of tables and shoddy code.
Please, please, migrate over, it would be so much easier!

Christian Utopia is not that great looking. I like this design but not the color. I think they should go with the color like songwriters forums. I prefer pink. Can we have this in pink?
It's good to get familar with all of the forum softwares out there.

Hi guys and thanks for the feedback. I HAVE used all of the other forum software out there, including the ones you mentioned. For WOWbb I own another forum site, which is the top custom theme site for wowbb, so I know every color or trick that can be done with it, lol
Cole thanks for your feedback and kind offer for assistance, but right now I will probably pass on the offer. I am not sure why you are having problems navigating around. This site has the location stream (ex - TV and Dinner > TV and Dinner Rules & Announcements > Member Questions > Forum Software question) at the top AND bottom of every single thread page. I wish you would actually add that on your forum, so you can navigate around without having the scroll back to the top of the page each time.
The WOWbb code is about to be updated and they have announced that a major update/new version is about to be released. Also, this IS NOT the standard template and is a custom one with side boxes. As you probably saw in the announcement we sent out a few days ago, there is now a lighter and darker version the members can choose. So far in the past few days since announcing that we have received over 15 positive responses to having both options available, so for now, we will go with the 2 theme choices for our members.
The plan right now is to wait and see what the big update has to offer when it is released, and if I am not happy then, I may consider using another forum software option then.
Finally, Cole, yesterday on your site someone started a thread about changing the theme there. There will always be someone who does or does not like the forum software being used. We do our best to offer the best content and monitor our sites daily (sometimes hourly, lol).

What would make it easier for you to navigate?
What would make this software like others or better?
It's rather easy to say that something is not up to par but specifics can help in making a product better.

I was more or less suggesting getting familiar with ALL of them out there so that you know how to navigate through them. I wasn't recommending installing all of them, unless you have time, of course

It is one of the best looking WOWBBs I have seen (the light skin) but I still keep my ground, I like IPB and vBulletin a ton more.

Ya, I know you're just trying to help out. I'm usually afraid to join new communities that don't process vBulletin or IPB, but this site is a huge exception.

| I create sites powered by vBulletin exclusively; I know nothing about WowBB so I can't comment on it's performance. My choice of software is based on support and customization options.

Both.
Though I'm pretty much a purist when it comes to mods/hacks and VERY picky when I do use one. I can't stand boards that are over weight with mods, run slow, crash, etc. And as an admin upgrading a heavily modded board can be a nightmare.
For design I lean twords the "easy on the eyes" and "easy to navigate" camp. I know, I'm an old guy . . . but I've found sites get sticky with return visitors if people don't have to struggle.
