Have you had a chance to watch this show yet?

It is pretty interesting, not sure if I could servive in the wild like he does. If I had to, I am sure there are some stuff I would eat that I now think I would never eat.

I watch this show all the time! I little while ago they played all of the episodes all day long. It's really fun and sometimes interesting to watch.

I saw him eat a dead salmon (and I mean REALLY dead!) I grew up in the wilds of Montana and now I live in the Rockies of Northwest New Mexico. I was even standing around a fire this weekend with a couple of my friends while it was snowing on us, but I don't think I'm that tough. The guy is a psycho.

Spooky! That's just what my wife said the other night when we were watching him climb down a steep, crumbling cliff without a rope!

:-d))

He is nuts and I do wonder when another one of these guys are going to get killed. They are doing riskier and riskier stuff on all of these shows.

That's nothing.  He eats bugs and insects on a daily basis.

In the episode where he's in Panama, he's wading through some kind of swamp that's infested with 10,000 strains of bacteria (his words) and says, "You don't wanna eat anything raw in here because you could die of liver failure."  Then he promptly kills some crab nearby, puts some of the meat in his mouth, and says, "Yeah, that's awful."  :)

He's seriously got a death wish or something.

I hear the situations he gets into are not always as extreme as portrayed on TV... for instance, he'll often sleep at a hotel

I Like the 'Survivorman' better. Seems more real as he is alone and even has to carry his own camera gear.
