How It's Made is VERY COOL. You get to see exactly how things you use in your everyday life are made. Many times the steps to make some of these things are way more complex then you might realize. The show I watched today they showed how to make a carbon fibre cellos, which was really interesting, and amazing with the technology that was applied to make the instrument. Very neat show.

Hmmm....I haven't ever heard of the show, but it sounds really interesting.
Guess I have to start watching the discovery channel more often.

| And I like how they just literally go through the steps as you watch whatever they are talking about being made. there is no silly humor or hosts who think they are the most important part of the show. Very cool

I often watch it, but...
1) The music can get cheesy and irritating.
2) They do get things wrong - like referring to someone welding when they are soldering and soldering when they are welding, for example.
3) Something I find slightly disturbing is the amount of times we see the camera operator or whoever handle food with bare hands...

Fantastic programme. I especially loved the one where they showed you how they perform eye laser surgery. BRILLIANT!
You can learn a lot of interesting things by watching How it's Made.
