A History of Britain is a BBC / History Channel series, and 'The wrong empire' is one of episode. I don't know exactly how British people view their history today, but I was a bit surprised that this program presented the viewpoint that the British empire went out to the world in order to spread 'liberty' instead of colonize and conquer. Sounds like a certain country in North American present day. Knowing that there exists such perspective even today was educational and informative to me.
