This is another episode of 'A History of Britain' a BBC / History Channel series. One Winston is Winston Churchill and the other is Winston Smith in 1984 or in this program aka George Orwell. The program compares these two.
Incidentally, I was also watching a long documentary on 20th century Russian history. It's interesting that 'The Two Winstons' emphasizes one side of the story during WWII, the fight against Nazi Germany; this program barely mentions about becoming USSR's ally. In this regard, British interpretation of WWII is very similar to American interpretation.
Good program, nonetheless. Over all, I enjoyed watching this series.
