There was supposed to be a business meeting this evening, but it's been canceled. Okey Dokey ...
Let's see. I guess that I'm just going to have dinner now and maybe watch a movie. After that, I'll think about what I do next. Maybe I'll spend an hour or so working, maybe I'll just read a book.

Hey, thanks! This is a very cool feature.
BTW, I'm just watching "Shut Up & Sing" for the second time. I really liked the documentary film, so I'm watching it for the second time to see if I can pick up a few things that I couldn't pick last time that I watched the film.
Oh, I already created a thread about the film yesterday ...

Ok, so, it's Monday; it's almost 1:00 am. I just received an email from my client.
I work on my house projects mostly, but I do have one client. They don't ask me to do too many things usually, but they've been asking me to do quite a few things this month and the last month. It's weird; I have not been able to work very productively for about a month now for variety of reasons, and that's exactly when they ask me to do many things. I was able to do a few things yesterday (finally), and I'm slowing picking up the speed, but, uh, ..., huh, another email.

| Productive day. It's been a while since I was able to sit in front of my computer almost all day long and do the type of work that actually produces something, but today was a different day. There was some output. I was not running around seeing accounts, bankers, etc., nor was I wasting my time. I still have several hours left today so I guess I can do a few more things ...

Tuesday morning. I checked all my emails including notification emails from message boards, so I'll start working on other things now after I eat something.
I could not sleep well last night. Mosquitoes are just killing me. I have to do something about those damn mosquitoes ...

Ok, the meeting that was supposed to take place last weekend has been re-scheduled to be held today, but there is a good chance that it'll be re-scheduled again.
I can't stop yarning today. I couldn't sleep well last night and the day before, so I feel sleepy.

Ok, so, the meeting that was supposed to take place last Sunday but canceled finally took place today. It was a rather short meeting, but it was pretty productive.
It was a pretty productive day over all.

| I spent most of my day at home working. Ok, so, I got quite a few things done, but a certain administrative problem that should be taken care of by today has not been taken care of. I need to go to my bank tomorrow and see the branch manager again for this. He is not a bad person, but it seems that, unless my friend/my company's director or I actually go there and sit in front of his desk, he doesn't actually spend time to work on this problem. This has been a little frustrating to me. I appreciate the fact that someone very senior like this branch manager takes time for me, but, at the end of the day, what matters is the result; the problem needs to be resolved. It's a part of work, but ... this is definitely not the most productive part of work.

The bank manager should appreciate the fact that their bank is the one you have chosen to do business with.

You know, I really wish that it were the case.
Every time I go there, I get nice tea and I enjoy drinking tea, but I prefer to get this done at once and just have tea once instead of having tea a dozen times (I actually had tea there over a dozen times since I went there so many times) and waiting for weeks for this ...

I got a certain certificate that I must have today ...
Well, I almost got it. I got a faxed copy of the certificate today, and I will get the actual certificate tomorrow ... finally ...
It actually ended up taking almost a month to get this, but I'm finally getting it ... I feel relieved.

| I couldn't sleep well last night (again because of mosquitoes), but I woke up pretty early this morning because there was supposed to be an early morning meeting. Well, the meeting was canceled. I didn't mind that because the guy that I was supposed to meet had a tight schedule and he had a few things to do today. However, I just could not stay awake, so I I look a long nap. I got up and had late lunch about thiry minutes ago. I want to do a few things today, but I will go take a walk now to refresh my mind, and when I come up, I will spend a couple of hours working ...

Finally, a major major administrative problem was resolved today. I met my accountant this morning and passed the certificate to him; he told me that this will do.
I am kind of working today, but ... it's a different type of work. I wrote a very short story recently as I was suggested to do this by a friend of mine, and I am currently working on the second short story. I am actually taking this pretty seriously, but ... I've got to spend time for my regular work as well ...

Follow up on this.
He (my accountant) needed my company letterheads yesterday, so I stopped at his office to pass him a bunch of them. Since I was there, he just created certain documents that he needed to submit to the government and asked for my signatures. I spent over an hour there, went over documents and signed. And then, I left. I also passed him checks for certain payments
I stopped at a clothes store to pick up my jean my way back.
This morning I had a chat with my friend/my company's director, and I found that all checks needed two signatures. So, I informed my accountant about it. Thank god, he had not posted those checks yet. After I informed him, I had tea and breakfast at his place. I'm expecting that today will be a pretty normal day. Normal work ...

| There are quite a few things that I have to do, but I felt a bit lost this afternoon; I couldn't quite figure out where to start. So, I just took a little break and went to get my hair cut. I came back and started moderating my forums. That's something that I haven't been able to spend a lot of time on for the last couple of weeks. I should be able to finish moderating all new threads and new replies by the end of the day, and I should be able to work on other things tomorrow.

| It's pretty damn hot today. It seems that the temperature has risen pretty dramatically. I'm guessing that I felt slightly dizzy this morning because of that. I guess that I'll get used to this in time, but I felt like I was moving so slowly this morning. Also shortly after noon, I had to go get ice cream. I don't eat ice cream usually, but I had to have one today. I'm guessing that I'm eating a lot of ice cream this year ...

How hot is really hot?
I guess it must be pretty hot because you still enjoyed high temps when in the US, right?

It's about 97F / 36C today, and the temperature will go up close to 50C (Yes, 50C NOT 50F) in the coming months.

Ah, not really. I never really liked 'sunny' California. The only cultural advantage in California is that you can make right turn against red light. That's about it ...
Well, actually, I like SF. I'm not too crazy about Southern California though. L.A. is totally overrated to say the least ... (and I think that you know this already because I keep saying this for many years ...)
Oh, another thing. I'm not too crazy about hot humid summer in New York, but I like having beer sitting outside. Beer tastes gooooood ...
