Wow, is there anything better then "firsts" with your children?
went to the pumpkin patch with my son yesterday and it was incredible. Amazing times for me.

| Big thanksgiving weekend starting tomorrow. Seems like it is always so busy on this holiday that the few days off seem rushed and like "work". Tomorrow we are spending all day with my wife's family for an all day eating fest. then we leave EARLY Friday morning for South Carolina to spend Fri, Sat and Sun with my side of the family including my parents, brother and his kids, sister and her kids. going to be a very busy and full few days. But in the end it will be nice to see everyone. just hope I am not to tired at the end of it all.

Just when I thought my wife could not surprise me anymore, she does something like she did this Thanksgiving and blows me away yet again.She is a property manager for a large apartment complex. One of her elderly residents suffered a stroke and multiple seizures. She was in the hospital for almost a month. During that time my wife went to visit her multiple times after work and on her own time. The woman had lived in the complex for many many years and had a second floor apartment.
Realizing that the woman would not be able to get to her current second floor apartment my wife on her own decision completely moved the womans entire apartment, belongings, furniture, and basically her entire life to a new unit across the complex on the first floor. At my wife's direction she and her staff worked long extra hours for weeks fixing up the vacant unit and then moving everything the woman owned to it. This way when she finally was able to leave the hospital and come home, everything would be where she expected it to be but in the new apartment that she was able to live in. It was very emotional for all when the woman did come home and there were many GALLONS of tears.
I asked her many times during the weeks she worked on this why she was doing it and all she said over and over way that it just was the right thing to do.
Pretty incredible.

she is pretty amazing and I am really lucky. I do work hard, but I always seem to have the TV on in the background. Just always been able to do about 10 things at once, lol. It is the only way I can get everything done!

| Cole's first Christmas and Birthday tomorrow. Very exciting and we are really getting everything ready. Going to be a big time with lots of family and tons of food. I have to admit that I am pretty excited!!!!! Will post pictures in the next few days!

| crazy couple of weeks coming up for us. My wife is in Tampa with her girlfriends for a bachelorette party. she gets back on Sunday. On Monday I leave for a convention in Las Vegas and will be there until Thursday. On Thursday I head directly to Tampa myself (totally by coincidence same location as where my wife is this weekend) for a 2 day corporate job. going to be a very busy week and a lot of time spent on planes, lol

For the past 2 weeks we have been doing some landscaping upgrades in our yard to create some new flower beds and features that will add to the overall back and front yard. After about 12 hours a day digging out different areas, laying weed mats, moving thousands of pounds of rocks for the walls, lugging about 30 bags of new topsoil, and digging out and planting countless plants, we are finally seeing some positive results. Here are some pictures.
