The new Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump starts this Thursday, Jan 3, 2006 at 9pm on NBC. Looks interesting, especially with the stars involved this time. I'll be watching!

Well we watched the first show last night and it was not terrible, but we also did not think it was that good. G. Simmons from Kiss clearly was the best on last night's show and the women did really poorly. I still hate Omarosa as much as we did the first time she was on the show, but then again, that is why she is on the show - to be hated.
Will be interesting to see how many weeks Simmons can basically do the same thing and it looks like next week she clashed with The Donald's daughter. I am actually looking forward to that because his daughter has no reason at all IMO to tell anyone what to do so I hope he yells at her good, lol.

it will be interesting to see how this show does in the ratings against a new Grey's Anatomy, but last week it was number 1 in its first week.
this week's show, which I DVR'd because I was watching Grey's lol - was another good one. The men just seem to be "smarter" then the women right now. They honestly just seem to be making better common sense decisions based on using their celebrity and the strengths within their group of contestants (like the voice in the commercial this show, just a good call by them).
Donald's daughter is a prima-donna and she really is a fraud IMO. anyone else watching this?

The men had a great idea and direction, but the promotional materials looked horrible IMO because of what happened to their computer with the coffee disaster. But incredibly they still won, because the message was so strong.
I can't believe how fat Alec Baldwin looked this week, but having him there was positive in general. Piers Morgan is pretty good at pitching the men's overall idea. I wonder how good their booth would have looked if the computer had not crashed.
Gene Simmons is so over the top it is really funny. He literally believes he is god walking and saying that "the client was wrong" was silly. Also, he just can not shut up. I thought it was funny that the guys when watching from the apartment all said "Gene's Out!" That was hilarious. And then the woman had no choice but to also say to fire Gene. NELLY was so STUPID and said Finch was bad, which made no sense at all.
BUT Gene was even dumber and only wanted to bring back Omarosa, which was dumb. The Donald demanded someone else be brough back to the board room and basically begged him to choose Nelly, but he did not. Gene then made the wrong decision again and brought back Finch, who had no reason at all either to be fired. Gene was so STUPID and basically fired himself.
And Gene was fired. Just overall dumb. Really really dumb and maybe he just wanted to be taken off the show.

Yeah i have no idea why he didnt bring back Nelly who was a complete idiot for talking over the Kodak execs. Simmons had a great idea/vision just didnt go over with the execs who wanted the word INK out there.
Side note, perhaps Gene had his very long tongue in Nelly's box hehehe...
I turned to my wife and said..do you realize how many pus that man has probably licked with that monster tongue lol

| haha - i think Gene got kicked off purposely since he has yet another show starting next week. He seems to be on about 10 shows right now and clearly is working the promo angle as much as possible.

Omarosa finally is off the show and Piers crushed her in the biggest beating in 6 years. It was pretty funny. Is ANYONE still watching this show?
Tonights show was about Quiznos subs.

| I'm watching TVDinner! I love this season. I'm hoping that Trace wins it all. I'm sure Trump will keep Piers as one of the final 2. I don't see Carol or Lennex as final contenders. It should be interesting.... and you know they're gonna bring back Omarosa to help with the final challenge. They always bring back the former players to help. This ought to be fun.

Well it comes down to Trace and Piers. I kind of figured it would have. Lennex was great as the "star draw" in many of the tasks, but never the leader. And Carol just kind of skated under the radar and made it to the final 3, but then was sent packing.
So it comes down to the 2 guys holding a big charity event, and have to work TOGETHER ON THE SAME EVENT. This is a great twist this year I thought.
They brought back Baldwin, Carol, Lennex, Marilou to help the guys.
Piers chose Stephen and Carol
Trace chose Marilous and Lennex

I'm surprised Trump didn't bring back Omarosa, but I'm glad he didn't. That would be too much drama. We have enough with Piers. It's good that both teams get to keep their donations for their charities. That's a nice twist.
I'm so afraid that Trace is gonna come up short and not because he's made any mistakes. Those BackStreet Boys think they're still popular. What a joke. I loved Trace's reaction to them.
Next week should be exciting.
