I watched a few of the shows and never really found it that funny. I think that was the problem. The "Joey" character was good in the ensemble of Friends, but by himself, just looked kind of dumb to me.

I thought this show was okay to begin with, but I just lost interest, as the characters weren't that convincing or realistic. Plus Joey was never Joey in this series. He was some completetly different guy.

I know exactly what you mean. Didn't follow to invent a show after friends did it? If it was a complete different story, and he was a completetly different character, than it might have been more interesting.
