One other thing. If Takazo has powers to heal himself (kind of like Claire) WAY way BACK in the past, are to assume that these super powers have been around for THOUSANDS of years?? Hiro says "some people think it is a gift from god, others think it is "evolution". Well then it is around for all that time, How is it only becoming public in our time now. There has to be others way back then like Takazo. They still really have not explained yet how all these powers exist, but they will have to soon.
Also, when Clair's boy friend flies up with her, it was a pretty big copy of many Superman scenes IMO. Even his look is similar.
next week do we finally get to see the "nightmare man"???

I CANT BELIEVE that Matt, the mind reading cop's dad is THE BAD BAD MAN that Molly has been seeing in her nightmare for the past year. I can't wait to see what he can do.
They are introducing so many new characters and people with powers so fast that it is almost getting confusing.

Hopefully the 'origins' mini series will explain a lot of things.
If Takazo has powers/abilities it is obvious to me that people with abilities/powers have been around for a while unless of course they throw a wrench into it, like someone going into the past and 'infecting' (for lack of a better word) people?

| I am not sure, but I am confused. I think they are leading to the fact that these powers have been around forever, but had to go underground due to persecution (probably witch trials, etc). And secret organizations to track and control the special power people if they could find them. Either way, making Takazo have powers centuries ago seriously makes this confusing now.

lol, what exactly does the statement above mean?
You say there has not been any shocking scenes in your opinion, however there were a few, lol. You said there was and was not? so which was it?
Also, what shocking scenes are you talking about.

The previews are showing Veronica mars is joining the cast. So I wonder what is up with her?
The previews make out she is up to something with Peter.
I hope Peter and Hiro are in tonights episode.

After watching last night, I think there are far too many story lines going on in this show.

OK, I tend to agree with you that there seems to be more going on here then even the show Lost, lol.
let's see...
there is the new African American girl who can basically do anything at all since she can mimic anything, the new brother sister team that kills anyone with bleeding eyes, the company hunting people with powers while also being hunted themselves, the horned rimmed glasses man with the unbreakable daughter and flying boyfriend, Hiro in the past fighting epic battles, his friend in the present reading centuries old scrolls with the story, the Petrelli brothers all confused and going different directions (and painting again), the mind reading cop with the super powerful father who can lock people in their own minds, Suresh who is completely clueless about what is going on and what his role is, the new blond killer with electric powers, old world people with powers being killed off one at a time, Silar somewhere out there trying to get his powers back but having a hard time of it, and almost every week new people with powers being introduced one after another.
It really is confusing and I am sure I have forgotten about some of the plot lines, lol

I've seemed to have posted incorrectly. What I meant to say that there were very few shocking scenes compared to what I've expected. One of them was the father of Hiro dying.

interesting show tonight. I do not understand why Sylar does not have any powers. makes no sense since everyone else still does.
also, they finally gave us a "save the world" new plot, which they had to do eventually. Now we know there is another "end of the world" to foil. without it the entire show would have been "the company" vs everyone else week after week.
that was a big 180 degree turn the "company man" did on tonights show. I did not believe it and he is a weasel.
anyone else have thoughts.

Neither do I, but it is odd he does not die like everyone else when that female goes all black eyes.
I don't think peter realizes yet al the powers he has.
That was pretty funny what Clair did to get on the cheerleader team..
I wonder if her boyfriend might some how be related to her or to Nathan or his evil mother? But yet the english guy in the past can heal like Claire so i guess various people have the same powers.

Yea, the Claire thing was funny.
I think this will come down to "family lines" and people being descendants of others with powers, etc, so you might be right about that.
I love the actor playing the "company guy". He has been in about 1 million movies and is always pretty good.

They really AND FINALLY have gotten the show back on track. I love the "Adam story line". He is basically just like Claire.
AND the fact they finally caught us up on VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING from the end of last season. Adam helped fill in everything in the "jail" they keep the captured heroes
I love that they caught us up how burned Petrelli was after the explosion. That was great to see and it was cool that Peter saved his brother when he was falling. All questions I had. Their mother is really a scheming bitch.
I like how Peter and Adam escaped, but I still dont trust Adam yet. But he DID make Peter's brother better. And we now know how Peter ended up in the crate...
The new girl Elle with the electric shock powers is a big bitch, but another hottie for the show.
Niki is back with a new split personality she can't control, but that gets her back on the show like everyone wanted. And her husband is a fire fighting hero (good job for a guy who can go through walls). But then he gets killed anyway. what a waste, but at least we now know how he died.
They even explained Maya's story a little and how her killing powers started. They are taking A LONG time explaining it, so she BETTER be important in the long run.
The most important thing they did IMO is get the show back on tract to saving the world and with Claire as the main character plot line in that.

It was a good episode as it could get without Hiro. Sorry but that guy just cracks me up and I hate episodes without him. ha ha ha
But with so many story lines now, I guess we will see more of it.
The previews for the next three episodes look real good.
I sure hope this writers strike does not persist.....

WOW, what a fantastic new show tonight (Tuesday night). The scenes with Hiro and his father were incredible and he is really becoming much more of a strong willed person, a big change from the silly and funny person he was when the show started. i like the direction they are taking his character.
it was GREAT to see Elle get a little of her own medicine when Bennet put her in water and made her shock herself. And I like that Claires boyfriend got to help.
I can not believe that it was Takenzo/Adam who killed Hiro's father - what a great plot twist, but now we know why he is so angry after being imprisoned.
AND OH MY GOD - SURESH, THAT ASSHOLE WITH NO POWERS SHOOTS BENNET! I hate him! And what are they going to do now on the show. No other character has played a bigger role then Bennet from Day 1 on the show.......OH WAIT, he is not dead because of Claire's blood, hahahahaha I LOVE it!
