| I love that they are bringing the Heroes together. At first glance you might say that this episode focused solely on Claire and her father but we still got Matt, Ted, the Haitian & Claude (plus a glimpse of little Hiro) thrown in for good measure.

| I missed the first 30 minutes of it but caught the end. I was alittle confused at the end... who's this new guy and did Bennett getting shot at the end... was that just a ploy? He didn't really kill him did he?

Kitty - a great glimpse of Hiro as a kid I think and this really brings up some interesting thoughts. A few shows ago we say his father in America and he let him go on his quest. Now we find out that he probably has known all along about him being special, or potentially special, as he is directly involved in the group hunting the people with powers.
mh - NO, I dont think he was killing himself, he was making it look like Claire escaped and he was shot during the escape and then the Hatian, erased any memory of Claire from his mind so he would not be suspected of being part of the escape. Bennett is turing into a pretty good guy.
I am still VERY curious as to what the actual "mission" of Bennett's group is??? To wipe out the special power people, so control them, to learn. Who knows. They work with some and eliminate others.

| mh- the new guy, played by Eric Roberts, is another agent like Bennett. Earlier in the show they showed a flashback where he hired Bennett for the job in the beginning. Definitely watch the beginning of the show on nbc.com to see what you missed.

Heroes is definitely coming together. The last few episodes continually drive me up the wall with their TO BE CONTINUED endings.. ah, serials!
The character development of Bennett has been very well done. If you watch the pilot episode and compare, I'd think he was a villan and not the caring father he is. I'm very curious as to where his character is going to go now and what Claire is going to do now that her family is torn apart.
I see something happening where she is reunited with her real father, Nathan Petrelli (and her surprise that Peter is her uncle). I'm also curious to see if maybe Bennett will get his memory back somehow. That Haitian is definitely more mysterious than we are led to believe. And he's working for someone else.. Dum dum dum! (ah, those serials)
And has anyone noticed that Peter is very similar to Sylar except that he doesn't need to kill to get his powers? I'm also interested in that story arc.

Steve - we were talking about this the other day at my office. Peter and Sylar are EXACTLY the same and equally as dangerous. The difference right now is that Sylar knows that and is actively seeking out powers to absorb and with evil intent. I think in the past few weeks we have also seen how Peter can be out of control and his powers turn ... overpowering. I think they are setting up these 2 to collide, because right now they are the most powerful.
My take on the Hatian is that he IS NOT that powerful. he can be easily hurt, but if he gets to you he can play with your memory. Powerful power, but ultimately he is fragile, as are many of them. Niki IS NOT fragile and she could be a big player. The rest of them can easily be eliminated if they are caught. That is why the invisible man has been hiding all these years.
The previews really looked interesting for next week.
Big Questions for me right now:
1) who is the person behind the company hunting these special people
2) why are they hunting them in the first place? 2a)Because they are scared of their powers OR do they want to learn from them?
3) how were these powers obtained? evolution or man made with those marks on all of them?
4)Finally - how powerful is this new female they showed and what can she do. She looks scary and powerful.

My thoughts exactly. I was watching E! (at least I think it was E!) and they revealed that Peter is going to be shaving his head and getting a huge scar (remember that episode where Hiro comes back from the future, with the sword, in the subway and says to Peter that he looked totally different without the scar? Well, it's coming soon!)

1. Whoever it is, they're working for Hiro's dad, methinks.
2. They're probably trying to learn how to control the powers and duplicate them (Invisible Man dude said something about a Vivisection in the flashbacks), whereas Suresh is trying to find everyone to hopefully try and "cure" them.
3. I thought those marks were tracking devices or something of that nature. Only the ones that were captured had those marks.
4. Didn't see enough of her to know. Does anyone read the online Graphic Novels that are on the Heroes website (NBC.COM)? They tell a lot of the backstories on the characters. I've only read one because they're a pain to navigate.

| The hatian can also subdue your power. Remember how Matt couldn't read his mind when he was around, he has the power to block your power.

Tonight's Ep is apparently a huge cliff hanger!

| Oh man... what a cliff hanger. Sylar finally meets up with Peter again and starts to rip his head off and he starts screaming. THen in the previews of upcoming episodes, Sylar says this is where most of the people start screaming. Very interesting!

OK i am catching up from being away. Just started watching this past week's show and WOW is all i can say.
To start - We see a quick glimpse of Iassic and Peter fighting about Simones shooting. Peter turns invisible and escapes.
Hiro goes to see Linderman and gets thrown out by some big bouncers.
Bennet shows back up at the hospital and has no memory of Clair being taken by the Hatian. Eric Roberts pulls rank and will not let him go after Claire. We also find out that X-cop-memory-reading-boy is helping Roberts to be let go (by reading Bennet's mind to verify if he is lying or not)
We next see the Hatian and Claire on the run. they have to leave the country the Hatian says. What a start to the show before the opening credits.
Peter goes to see his brother, who finds out that he is working with the FBI and then Peter leaves again.
Bennet goes and sees his wife who has her memory erased again, but it seems that she has been fooling the agents and actually knows what is going on and Bennet has told her to do some things when he got back, but it seems to weird to me.
And then we meet the new girl who is working with Bennet. She is bossy and hot.
Back to evil Sylar, who is still with Suresh. Sylar is learning more and more from Suresh and IT SUCKS. He learns about his father's formula and is really fooling Suresh...WHICH SUCKS. BUT IN A GREAT TWIST Suresh fools Sylar and drugs him.
Hiro gets to Peter at the casino and talks to him about the sword. They talk a little bit about going at their mission alone. Peter helps him get to Mr. Linderman.
Claire and the Hatian go to the airport. She wants to go find Peter in NYC. She fools the Hatian and heads gets through security without him and has another ticket to go to NYC.
The police come to Iassics house to look for Simone, who was killed, but now she is alive somehow? HOW?? Well she is not really alive. We now we know that the new girl can literally change her shape into other people. She is spooky and a little mean. Bennet and her tell Iassic to keep painting and that a crew is coming to clean up the mess with Simone.
Finally we see Niki, Micah, and her husband again, but the bad Niki is still in charge.
Back to Suresh and Sylar - he has Sylar tied up and tells him that he is a parasite and that a parasite must be eliminated. Suresh points a gun at him and Sylar starts to talk to him about what he knows from his father and about the truth. Sylar is playing mind games to save his own butt. We find out that Sylar is patiant zero and Suresh's father was using his blood and dna for his forumula. Suresh takes some samples, which hurt evil Sylar! haha.
Back to Hiro in the casino. He is trying to find the sword that Mr. Linderman has. He has one of the paintings (the ripped one). While the guard takes it tot he back Hiro jumps on his computer looking for the Sword, which he finds and then runs to get from the cabinet it is in. As he goes to get it and the security guard comes back and hits a button call security. And in a total surprise Ando shows up. He has been following Hiro and is there to knock out the guard so they can get the sword.
Back to Nathan. The FBI agents working with nathan get a surprise visit from Niki who shoots them. Linderman is obviously behind all of it.
Suresh looks at Sylar's blook and identifies the 4 genes causing all of the powers. Sylar shows his true colors and he still wants the list so he can take everyone's power. Suresh shoots Sylar, but he stops the bullet in mid air. He gets up because he is SO powerful he can control things with his mind. He is free again..and still an evil force.
Iassic is looking at his drawings, doing drugs and painting with his weird white eyes. He paints a new picture. Peter is in his room where he meets Niki, who rips out the wire and says that Jessica is not there right now and she only has a little time to warm him before evil Jessica returns. He is confused because he does not realize that she is 2 people yet.
Bennet talks to his wife, who still seems to be understanding what is going on, but as I predicted, it is really the new shape shifting woman fooling him. She calls in Eric Roberts and they are going to take out Bennet.
Back to Hiro who now has the sword. He takes Andro and they jump in time and end up in NYC AFTER the bomb went off. Everything is total destruction and death.
Next we have the exlusive look at Spiderman 3, which looks very good.
Claire is now in NYC and looking for Peter. A woman answers who seems to know her. The Hatian is already there with a woman who is her grandmother.
Good niki tells Nathan about Linderman's plot to kill him or take the deal that Linderman will offer him. Niki tells him to knock her out so Jessica will not come back. Peter goes to meet Mr. Linderman down in the kitchen. He is cooking. Linderman is talking when Nathan pulls out a gun and threatens him. He tells him that he will be killed instantly as well from the security guards. He tells him that he knows he can fly, and about his brother, and his daughter and all of the others with powers. He knows all about everything. He also tells him that within 2 years he will be in the White House. He tells him to think about it and turns his back on Nathan and the gun. Nathan lowers the gun.
Peter goes to Suresh's house and find it in shambles as he is looking for Sylar. Sylar puts peter up against the wall and says that he is like him and wants to see what happens if he tries to take his powers. He starts cutting his head and the show ends.!!!
The previews look incredible but the show is not back until April!!! going to be hard to wait that long! Great show this week!
