Wow, I just watched it on NBC. Very awesome episode. Still a bit confused though.

If Peter blew up, he knew it wasn't Sylar so what did he think happened to sylar? He should have known that Sylar was still alive or they should have explained why he thought Sylar was dead.

GREAT EPISODE THOUGH! Explained why he was so against everyone else. Sylar and Peter are truly the most powerful people that I have seen.

This is one of the greatest shows to hit television in years. I never miss an episode and it sucks there are only two left.

I think the season finale will be a Peter/Sylar smack-down so to speak.

Actually I recorded it as I was out so will watch it today sometime, then I will let you know. ;)

It looked like a pretty good episode from the previews though. Looks like "Hiro" gets a fair bit of screen time tonight or last night. I find him and his sidekick the most interesting 'Hero' and I like how he speaks Japanese too. It all works right, so to speak.

It was a really good show and very revealing about the story line and what might, or might not happen. I will wait until you watch it today and post your thoughts and then we can discuss! :)

That was interesting. What is Hiro going to do with his broken sword? Teleport to another time period to get it when its whole?

I wonder if Mohinders sister is really dead, I was expecting when that little girl was receiving the blood transfusion to cure her, to tell him his sister was still alive.

Claires grandmother's (Peters & Nathans mother) is one person I would watch carefully. I don't trust her.

Linderman, does he want Micah to hack into some government computers or weapons system?

In the preview for next weeks episode it looks like Hiro's dad is back, so maybe he will help Hiro get his "sword fixed or replaced"?

Just two more episodes left and the season finale is a two hour one.

we said exactly the same thing, because the future Hiro always has a completel sword. i still think that eventually the sword will not be the crutch of his power, and I did not think he would be able to easily just come up and stab Sylar. That dude is way to powerful and paranoid.

I think she can do much more then just find people. I think the star she gave the doctor will be important also.

Claires grandmother's (Peters & Nathans mother) is one person I would watch carefully. I don't trust her. she is clearly in it for personal gain, but I can't remember - did we see her in the future at all. I don't think so. Also, does she have any powers?

Linderman, does he want Micah to hack into some government computers or weapons system? he is another wild card. they have not fully shown what he can do. I am curious about him and his ultimate roll in everything.

In the preview for next weeks episode it looks like Hiro's dad is back, so maybe he will help Hiro get his "sword fixed or replaced"? Any time George Taki (sp??) is on I think it is great. He is playing the roll well.

Just two more episodes left and the season finale is a two hour one. I am not sure what I am going to do on Monday nights without Heroes or Prison Break, lol

No kidding me too. Hopefully Prison Break starts early again this season.

I know the Heroes season finale will be great and I assume a good cliffhanger and that sucks as it will drive me bonkers until the fall. ha ha

I always think of George Taki as "Sulu" I said oh Sulu is back next week. ha ha But he is another one like Claires grandma that knows a whole lot more than he is saying, isn't he the one that gave Claire to Bennett in the first place? Or arranged it? I seem to recall Claire was a baby and Hiro was 6 or 7..... or am I mixed up?

Taki is completely involved and maybe more then we have seen so far as you mentioned. they were all there in the beginning when Claire and Hiro were baby's. Everyone is intertwined one way or another.

Another great show tonight. Everything is really coming together and unlike other shows they are doing a good job with keeping the story moving forward and actually explaining things. And in this show we had the death of multiple main trackers (goodby Eric Roberts), the surprise for Claire's father and the mind reading cop that the "tracking system" was a little girl. A big standoff with the doctor trying to protect the girl. What a crazy situation!

Sylar having the nuclear man both caught by the police and then he kills him when he takes his powers by cutting open his head for his powers (always gross). And of course the great George Taki was excellent again as Hiro's father - straight forward, always serious and with stern emotion. Hiro's friend goes after Sylar alone, which is crazy and then Clair and Peter just happen to drive up on the accident where Ted was killed by Sylar.

Linderman was pompous as ever and he had Mika rig the election and have Petrelli win. He also tries to bribe "Jessica" to take money instead of killing him, but "Nikki" stops her from doing that. Linderman shoots Jessica/Nikki's husband, but before he dies he uses his power to punch right through Linderman's head and apparently kill him. I will be surprised if he dies that easily. Eerlier in the show Linderman has cured Petrelli's wife so she could walk again.

At the end of the show we see Petrelli giving his acceptance speach while all of the main characters move on their different paths, everyone moving towards the upcoming bomb. And then we see the evil Sylar. Standing on top of a building playing with his new nuclear power and looking at the city below him and he just says "boom". what a great ending. Next week's show will be incredible as Sylar and Peter finally square off in the big battle of the 2 strongest heroes and all of their powers!

who else watched and what did you think?

It was great and you basically summed it up.

I see they are making a spin off already.

NBC Announces Heroes Spin-Off

At their schedule presentation today in New York, NBC announced a 6-episode spin-off of their breakout hit Heroes, Heroes: Origins.

The limited series will feature characters not yet seen on the original show. Viewers will get the chance to vote for their favorite Origins star, who will then join the cast of the real thing in the '08-'09 season.

That actually looks quite interesting.

very interesting thinking. Create a new type of spin off that does not only stand on its own, but is a direct feeder to the parent show, AND the viewing public is directly involved in how the show plot develops and who moves into the bigger show. Very new thinking. I like it and it already assures me watching both Heroes which I love, and this new 6 show feeder series.

the big final show of the season.
Sulu gives Hiro his sword. His powers are now strong
Sylar is more and more powerful and painting his own future and destiny, which is Peter Petrelli.
Nathan learns about Linderman's death from his CREEPY mother.
The girl Molly, who is the tracking system for finding all of the "heroes" is becoming more and more important.
The Cheerleader with Peter tells her dad that Ted Spriggs is dead (nuclear man). Sylar now has the nuclear power also and Peter is told to keep Clair safe. they go to see Peter's brother Natham. Peter does not realize yet that his brother is not a good person. BUT using his obsorbed mind reading powers he finally realizes that Nathan is bad, but now Claire has disappeared. Peter's nuclear power is not controlled yet and it is controlling him!!! oh no! He passes out.
Molly can find almost everyone except for one person, who is WORSE then Sylar. when she thinks about this new person, he can see her. WHO IS THIS NEW Super Powerful PERSON? Will this be something for next season?
Claire is with Nathan and his creepy mother. Her father says to go with them to be safe and once out of the city try to get away.
GREAT PREVIEW FOR SILVER SURFER/FANTASTIC 4 MOVIE
We next see Peter flashing back to when he was an orderly. Reliving the past. And it turns out that the person he was originally helping die (Charles) thought that Peter was the good brother. He finds out that the bomb was being discussed and thought about long before he realized it. AND then Charles talks to him. Talks to him in his flashback!
2ND HALF OF THE SHOW
Hiro and Sylar square off, but Hiro just saves his friend.
Back to wacko 2 personality Nikki girl who is looking for her son Mika. But she ends running into the really scary shape shifter who looks like her and they fight. she wins and gets Mika.
Mind Reading Police boy goes after Sylar by himself, WHICH IS STUPID because he has no real physical power at all to fight him, but Sylar is gone. he looks at his pictures and takes off..
Molly says Sylar is already there.
Nathan and his creepy mother talk to Claire who asks how they can live with themselves allowing millions and millions to die? Claire jumps out of a 20 story building and gets up and runs away.
GREAT PREVIEW FOR TRANSFORMERS MOVIE
Molly and the doctor are in big trouble because Sylar is coming.
Hiro transports his friend all the way home and then leaves him as he goes to join the battle. IT'S NOT THE SWORD - IT IS THE MAN!
Peter talks to Charles and he is told that he is "the good" in the equation and he can love. He wakes up from his dream and Mr Bennet (Noah) is with him.
At the Heroe's main building Mika, Molly Nikki, here husband and the doctor take off in the elevator.
Mr. Bennet and Peter goes to find Sylar, but Sylar finds him. FINALLY Peter and Sylar square off.

Silly brain reading cop tries to shoot him but Sylar quickly stops that and hurts him bad, and then he takes on everyone else, including Nikki. finally Peter fights back, Sylar laughs at him. Peter's nuclear turns on and he can't stop it. Then Hiro shows up and stabs Sylar through the midsection incredibly. But Sylar is still alive and moves Hiro away from Peter as he is charging up and up. Claire comes running and sees her hurt father and Peter about to explode. She take s the gun from her father and walks up to Peter. Everyone is watching but Claire has a hard time shooting him. Then Nathan shows up and flies in and grabs his brother and they fly WAY up and explode in the sky.

Everyone watches the explosion go off.  The police and others show up. Officer Mindreader is very hurt and might dies. Claire is upset because Peter is dead. Mr Bennet is with Claire. Nikki and the family is all together.

BUT we see that Sylar has gotten away! AND we have the even more powerful person somewhere out there.

Hiro finally comes down after flying from Sylar and he is in some ancient time in 1671 where there is a battle going on and then there is a total eclipse of the sun. A confusing beginning to the second season called Generations

WOW, what a great show tonight!

AND THEN WE SEE A TEASER FOR THE NEW SERIES THE BIONIC WOMAN

my recap is right above yours. I was actually pretty happy with it. You DON'T need "cliffhangers" for every final show of the season. they have changed the entire future and subsequently opened up endless possibilities for next season, AND the hint of a scarier, more powerful being somewhere out there is wild. And Sylar is still alive!
