In my opinion CSI Miami is the best of the CSI franchise of shows for one reason and one reason only - the incredible and constant overacting by David Caruso, who plays Horatio Caine, the Lieutenant for the CSI Miami squad.
His voice, dramatic pauses when speaking, and intense looks are the best on television and never fail to induce at least one big laugh each show.

I have to agree on this being the best of the CSI's. The casting of David Caruso as Horatio is just perfect.

| I totally agree, 100%... i like this show better than the other, and I use to watch it before... but sad to say,I can't watch CSI Miami today anymore, well, its because the sched of my work... That's why. Last edited on Tue Jan 30th, 2007 09:18 pm by grazieweb

| Caruso is really the best. I have liked his movies like Kiss of Death and love him on this show!

Hard show this week with Eric in the hospital and has a needle jammed into his heart just to keep him alive after taking a bullet to the head.
the entire team goes on the offensive to find out who did it and finds a web of diplomats and blood diamonds.
Clavo is on the run and the team is closing in fast. Clavo shoots his father in his home and is off again on the run. They pull back in the security guard from the mall and test his opposite hand and find out that he was there and the shooter. he admits that clavo had promised him 100,000 and the dumb ass only says he was going to pay off his car. they now have the shooter and keep looking for the diamond connection.
they find a person in town with 5 kids and assume that he is a diamond cutter and is using the kids to cut the diamonds (blood diamonds). they find the kids working in a basement making diamonds and arrest everyone.
clavo and horatio face off because clavo wants him to kill him. he draws his weapon and horatio has to shoot him. and he does, right in the heart and as he stands over him he says "Take Care Clavo"
Cut to the hospital and Horatio says to Eric - we got him. And Eric says that he does not remember anything. Horatio tells him that he was shot in the line of duty. Eric asks for his sister again, not remembering that she is dead. His memory and brain is damaged. The show ends with a single tear falling from Eric's eye. He will not be the same again.
strong show this week.

ohh, thanks. this must be one of the episodes from the new series which is most likely yet to be shown here.
it sounds like a good episode.
the last series here saw H saying that they were going to Brazil (i think) after a murderer got deported by the FBI. I actually like Delko

Las Vegas is better IMO. But Miami is right up there with it to me. I guess it's because I started watching Vegas first so I learned those characters before I even saw a different one.

My husband and baby love this show. My husband says H is "too cool". My daughters and mom in love with him, ick. Eric is cutie pie.
I like watching it sometimes, H is really smart and always ahead of everyone else.

| Are we talking about the same show? CSI Miami? The main guy... from NYPD Blue... I cannot STAND him. He delivers his lines like he is reading from cue cards. There has been {looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong pause} a murder. It irriates me, which is sad cause I really like CSI Vegas... Until of course they put my OTHER show on at the same time... Buh-bye Grissom!

lol, I think David Caruso's incredibly endless over dramatic acting makes me laugh. You said it just like he talks, lol. He thinks he is "the coolest".

He is great. I just re watched "Rambo" and was so young. It was a good move to get him and this is by far the best CSI of the bunch.

Yet another great show!
Its good how the story is basically the same but there are always twists in the plot with new evidence ect.

I totally agree. However, CSI NY in my eyes is creeping up. I'm really beg. to love the show.

Well the season premiere was tonight and it was pretty good..
Cane found out he has a son and his son's a criminal! I feel bad for Eric.. I wish he was back with the team - that'll teach him for gambling!

| what I like about the Miami version of this franchise IS THAT there is always one of them that is flawed,or doing something criminal, or in trouble. It seems realer to to and more like the real world, where there ARE people in trouble, even good people who are mixed up in bad things.
