The line gets blurred between the boardroom and the bedroom in a new outrageous drama about four dysfunctional CEOs who will do anything to stay on top.
The lines between boardroom and bedroom blur in Big Shots, the story of four friends who are at the top of their game... until the women in their lives enter the room. These competitive but dysfunctional New York CEOs take refuge in their friendship, discussing business, confiding secrets, seeking advice and supporting one another through life's twists and turns.
James Walker (Michael Vartan, Alias) is the group's moral center, but his professional life almost crumbles in an instant, thanks to a corporate shakeup at AmeriMart Industries. However, his work woes pale in comparison to what he later learns about his wife.
Brody Johns (Christopher Titus, Titus) is Senior Vice President of Alpha Crisis Management. Despite his professional success, his wife will be judging him by how magnificently he can put together her birthday party.
Karl Mixworthy (Joshua Malina, The West Wing) is the sweet yet always nervous CEO of a large pharmaceutical company. He has a loving wife – and a cunning mistress who is beginning to monopolize whatever free time he can muster.
And Duncan Collinsworth (Dylan McDermott, The Practice) is the sexy, divorced CEO of Reveal Cosmetics. Having built his company into the industry leader, he now finds his personal life threatened by rumor of a personal indiscretion – which is actually a fact – that could turn his world upside down.
The concept for Big Shots sprang from creator Jon Harmon Feldman's desire to explore, in comedic and dramatic terms, what it means to be a man in 2007.
Also starring in Big Shots are Paige Turco (Rescue Me) as Lisbeth, Duncan's ex-wife; Peyton List (Day Break) as Cameron Collinsworth, Duncan's 19-year-old daughter; Jessica Collins (Tru Calling) as Marla, Karl's high-strung mistress; Amy Sloan (The Heartbreak Kid) as Wendy, Karl's wife, who hopes that therapy can restore his desire for her; and with Nia Long (Premonition) as Katie Graham, James' "work wife."
Created and executive-produced by Jon Harmon Feldman (Reunion, Tru Calling, American Dreams, Dawson's Creek), Big Shots is from Warner Bros. Television. The pilot was directed by Charles McDougall (Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City). Co-executive producers are Michael Katleman (Primeval, Tru Calling), Emily Whitesell (American Dreams, Once and Again), Danielle Stokdyk (Veronica Mars) and Jennifer Gwartz (Veronica Mars).

Now THIS was a good show. All great actors!
Having your boss drop dead ..w ell, run over by a golf cart - minutes after he fires you and then finding out your wife was having an affair with him AND then taking over the boss's job? Schweet!
Finding out the "chick" you were having a romp with in a truck stop rest-room was in fact a dude, being arrested, having a reporter after your ass and having a bitch of a daughter - fun stuff!
I can't imagine a mistress actually becoming friend's with her lover's wife. Would be funny if the wife left him for her but mistress thinks of setting her up with her friends lol
Then there's the pussywhipped man. He's wound so tight around his woman's finger. Classic.
I love this show already!

I agree that this show is a lot of fun and we enjoyed it and laughed a bunch. I hope they can keep the shows as fast and funny as the first one was. And I agree with Jaded on this one - the plot lines were really good and all over the map.
Everything about Duncan is one problems after another because of his crazy life style.
This COULD be Sex and The City for Men....

| Seriously, this show gets better each week. It is unquestionably crass and over the top, but it is funny and a lot of fun to watch. It is 1/2 over and they are at commercials and I can't wait until it comes back on, lol

I cant believe after all that to clear his name the Tranny got arrested and now Duncan's name will again be exposed for being in her book.
The plot with the mistress and the wife is nuts and the fact it is OK for the husband to "share the wife" is completely ridiculous.
I love this show!

I thought the same thing about the black book. Poor Duncan!
It's like the wife is the child and the hubby/mistress are fighting over custody of her - awesome!
The whole homicide angle to the boss's death was a nice touch. Now James knows how his wife REALLY feels and he can move on to someone new.. like Katie (at work)

| I was pretty pissed off at his wife for crying to that cop and saying how much she loved the dead guy, after telling James she did not. LIAR!

This show gets better and better and I hope it makes it. The entire mistress (Marla) friendship with the wife is/was the best story line. I loved the looking at the private investigators info.
Duncan getting caught hooking up with his x wife by their daughter was predictable, but funny.
I was amazed at how hot all the mom's were at the school. What world do they live it? lol.
REbachelor party. Awesome! Ever guy should have that.
Duncan giving his friend's name was fantastic. The crisis guy...has a crisis.

| another strong show last night. I think this series has legs. I liked that they are finally giving Duncan a little more depth and not making him JUST a womanizing playboy. the plot with the mistress living in the house is getting more and more ridiculous, but it still is funny.

I cant believe that Duncan got the black book back. That should end that horrible tranny hook up in his past, but he is losing his X wife who he wants back.
This might be my new favorite show.

| CRAZY SHOW TONIGHT. The wife lets the mistress have sex with her husband to get pregnant. Duncan's X wife says yes to getting married....to his big rival, and the young ceo strikes back HARD on the TV talk show host (that was the best scene of the show). Strong episode this week.
