Have you Yanks already seen this show on your side of the Atlantic?
It's just started running here on Channel 4, watched it the past couple of weeks whilst eating my traditional Friday night curry.
I'm really enjoying it, the production alone is impressive. It just looks great!
Plus Alan Dale AKA Jim Robinson from crappy Aussie soap Neighbours is in it. You can't beat crappy Aussie soaps.

Hi, Ugly Betty is about to start here in Australia think this week, it does look good.
I have to agree about the crappy aussie soaps. My husband loves neighbours, have you ever seen home and away (he loves this too) same thing different scenary.
We had a great series called McLeods Daughters, after a few seasons they ruined it and have made it more like a soap opera.

Home and Away, first class. That girl with the big chest who's been in it since she was about 8 has made a Paris Hilton style home made porno.

| Ugly Betty started here 3 weeks ago. The first episode i hated it, really couldn't understand why it was even on TV LOL. However, the last 2 episodes have got better.

We had our first episode of ugly betty last night.
Even though the plots and characters were a little predictable it was entertaining and it will be our new 7.30 Sunday night show to watch.

| I can't believe how good this show is. I refused to watch it when it debuted but I got caught up on it on the ABC Family Channel and I watched the whole marathon. Now, I can't wait for it to air each week. I missed last week's episode and I'm terribly irritated that it hasn't shown up on ABC's website yet for viewing.. yet Grey's was on immediately! What gives?

I haven't seen this show, but it was advertised on the tv.. It will b televise on the 18th of April, and it caught my attention, coz it looks exciting and i want to see her transformation..

I saw the pilot and quite enjoyed it, played a bit like a feel good movie but by the end i had closure, she was happy, he learnt a valuable lesson, all was good, why watch more, so i didn't

I do enjoy Ugly Betty, and yes I find it also a very good production.
It's about the only television I watch, when I do end up watching tv on a friday night.

| Ive been enjoying watching it for some time now it has a lot of funny moments and some very unlikeable characters but beleivable. Betty of course is the poor hard done too woman who is starting to kick butt, but how will she get on with, Rebecca, obviously she is still the no threat ugly bug and will remain so (ive seen her without the braces and glasses, not much improvement).
