| I agree that it's similar - mostly in the earlier episodes, but it's going away from that.

| I've actually watched a few episodes of Ugly Better and to be honest, I didn't see much potential in it. The comedy wasn't really funny which was definitely a turn-off in my opinion because I expected it to be more interesting. Although, there must have been something about the show that made me watch it though.

| i love the show but i can say that i love the Mexican counterpart which i've catch on dvd. the elements of comedy is much good and the actors really dignifies the role. although the translation is bad, i appreciate it

hmmmm , it is like the ugly duckling, it is a nice, actually it has many translation, the show really inspire those who had lost hope for themselves....

For me Betty is not ugly...She is the smarter and prettier???.....creature in this laying world...hehehe...I guess I'm a tottaly lier...Well this show is really really funny...And Weirdo Betty makes everybody's life colorful....

The second season is just wrapping up in the UK.
I'm a bit disappointed that Alan Dale has been killed off. What the world needs is more Jim Robinson on there tellies!
