That is one of my favorite shows. And like a big sap, I cry every single episode.

Season started again tonight and they were in Hawaii. They did a 2 hour show because they did a house and community center for a family.
The house was incredible and the room for the mom and dad had an incredible secret garden off the master bedroom with a soaking tub. Very very nice. the kids rooms were cool and well done for each kid's interests.
Finally the Community Center was something that would be great for the entire community. well done 2 hours.

Yeah I watched it. The house was nice on the inside, wasnt too fond of the outside, but i guess thats they way they like it in Hawaii. That secret garden outside the parents room was freaking nuts.

The best house they have EVER DONE imo, was the log cabin house, did anyone ever see that?

I saw that one. That was cool, because it was different and the ceilings were awesome. They always do a pretty good job and of course the new house is way better then the family previously had. I would love to see if people keep these houses long run, or sell them, or worse, lose them because of taxes, etc.

Pretty good show tonight as the team rebuilt the home of a Navajo family that had been living without running water and heat for 5 years!!!!!! Imagine 5 years without heat and water and the mother is in a wheelchair.
They built them a crazy big house with an incredibly amount of extras, and it looked pretty cool AND was completely green, so all power and energy was created by the solar panels, wind generator and plants on the roof. Pretty cool

The design did a great job on the recent episode, I like the of helping a family that are in need, and helping not only to build a house yet to build a home.... :).. a touchy show...

the radon story was nuts, but the 5000 square foot home they built them was amazing.
I liked when they blew up the house with dynamite. That was very cool

Last nights story, A single father of 5 boys living in a rental house, no beds, clogging water, no heat and very little food. Its amazing how some people can live and get through with nothing. They got a plot of land donated to the family. The house was amazing, going from living in a rental to a huge house, and all the boys told the designers they wanted were beds. They also got the father an office space in a near by buiding for the organization he started.

I thought it was interesting that the house they built, which was beautiful, is literally on a downtown corner in the city. You only saw the surrounding area at the very end when they panned around. Was a little funny looking, lol

it was a little interesting considering what they usually have to work with. But with the family renting it made things different.

they did their 100th home on tonight's show. was a good 2 hour show and they brought back a few of the old families who had their homes redone over the past few years. was nice to see how they are doing.
the family tonight had a horrific story with the mom and boyfriend murdered by the X and then the sister takes in the 4 kids. pretty amazing story and strong family who got a massive new home.

My father in law just recently worked on the home that showed 2 or 3 weeks ago. The house was in Camden and they did an awesome job. I belong to a discussion group for people with the genetic condition I have - its called porphyria - there is a woman on our group that has very advanced problems caused by the disease and is a finalist to be on the show - so my father in law will probably be on the show again if they choose her... It was really cool for him to work on the show, they give the workers food, water, massages, all kinds of great stuff for contributing their time and effort. I don't watch the show regularly - but I've seen a few episodes and what they do for people is completely awesome.
