From the title itself, Extreme Home Makeover is a reality tv show that makeover/ home improvement.. This is really fun to watch, especially if you'll see the big difference of the house, before & after.

| I've seen in tv commercial that they demolished one whole house then build new house just for one week....

| They generally choose a needy family with cute kids with a run down house and no money to make repairs, then surprise them with a week's vacation while they tear down the house and rebuild a bigger one.

| well they have gone further and further and further with the "things" being wrong with the family. Remember, this is STILL TV and they have to get ratings, so the more sad, or heart wrenching the family story....the better the TV. They ARE really helping people, but the show will only remain on if people continue to watch, so the stories have to be powerful and/or interesting.

| The coolest thing about tonight's show was the rec room they built behind the house. It looked like an upscale bar with new games and stuff for the kids. That was my favorite part and then the apartment-suite they built for the girl with the stone walls and the big frog in the kids room. Was really nice and original.
