| I have been slowly getting into this show from the time that Clarks dad died, and now lucifer(I think thats he's name) knows clarks real identity and he's getting closer to Clarks mum. That's the stage I am at, within viewing this show. It's alright to watch, I like how the characters stare at each other for a while very vividly after they say their lines. Interesting show.

| They kept Lionel (Lucifer) on the show even though Ma Kent left. Strange. I honestly expected them to get married. Maybe Ma Kent will make an appearance this season so we can see how their relationship is or is not progressing?

I would say this was a bit of a filler episode. Although Kira won the Miss Corn contest or whatever it was exactly called.
Some Krptonian 'gold' buried 100 years ago or is it Gold Kryptonite?
Lex faking how bad he feels in front of Lana. Lex also knows something is up with Kira.
Clark acting like her dad ha ha Just like the JLU cartoon.
Lana wants to grow old with Clark but we all know that won't happen, plus when Lana is 80 Clark will still look young. She is living on the Kent farm.
Kira is working at the coffee shoppe where Lois and Lana worked and that Lex owns.
Kira seems to act more like Superman than Clark. I still can not figure out why Clark has not started his 'training'.

I watched it again, this weekend and I seem to get the feeling maybe Chloe and Jimmy Olsens relationship may be headed for some rocky waters?
I say that because of the way Jimmy keeps looking at Kira/Super Girl. He seems fascinated or even has a small crush by the way he looked at her especially at the end of the episode.

So the Jonn Jazz has a history with Kira. Apparently he did 'something' to them on Krypton.
It also seems Jor-el and Zor-el although brothers, hated each other. I hope we hear more about this.
Why would Kryton and Mars have a relationship, since as Kira mentioned 23 galaxies apart? Were Martians Hired 'Hit men" or something?
So Chloe/Jimmy no more. I bet he will briefly hook up with Kira under false pretenses. She will 'use him'. Yet I wonder if they will get back together before the season ends?
Jimmy is calling Clark 'CK' ha at least the writers remembered that.
That was funny when Jimmy said he used to use his short wave to try and hear messages from Mars and Kira said 'Martians use infra red'.
Sounds like there will be a smack down between Clark and Kira and the MM this season.
That was funny when she called him 'Red eyes" and for the first time he was called the 'Martian Manhunter".
I wonder what Jonn Jazz did with Dean Caine's character? So MM and Jor-el had a don't ask don't tell relationship.
I wonder what the story is with the Mad Doctor who is Immortal? I have a feeling we may see him again. Jonn said he can't kill him but what about if he was to lose his head Highlander style or MM throwing him into the sun?
I wish they would show Jonn Jazz in his natural Green Shape or shape shift.
Next weeks looks sort of a silly fill in episode to me.
I enjoyed this episode. I wonder if the move to Wednesday is permanent? "A" Channel here in Canada showed it Wednesday while the WB showed it Thursday. But we also get new Shark Episodes on Thursdays but can re watchit Sundays on American tv.

I guess the move to Wednesday night is a permanent thing. Good thing I remembered to set the vcr.
Last nights episode was sort of goofy in a way.
Found out Lionel was being held in a marijuana grow op (So many around here I guess they did not have to look to hard to find one ;) ) and he is back and Lana was the one behind it.
When Lana got thrown off the balcony I do not know why they did not finish up the flying scene. He 'jumped' off 4 or 5 seconds after her and went down head first then caught her and yet he lands on a truck, like whats up with that? Physics states he should not of been able to catch up, straighten himself out then catch her and land on his feet. So he had to be 'flying' to me.
If Bizzaro can fly, Kira can fly and he could fly when he was possessed with himself, why is he not flying?
I assume he will be Superman by the end of this season. I can not see it being stretched out another year, especially since Lex will not be back next season if there is one.
So Lois and the Editor may be hooking up?

So now that this episode finally aired in the US I wil do a re cap.
Well we start off on the Planet krypton where Kira is talking to her father Zor-el and she is about to leave for earth.
You can hear the war or uprising Zod has started in the background, obviously he loses, as we all know.
Kira was thinking about that and snapped out of it just in time so a passenger jet does not hit her.
So we find out Lana is running a group to 'help' meteorite infected. I personally think she has more up her sleeve though...
Clark and Lionel had a touching reunion, I was almost in tears when they hugged. (ha Ha only kidding)
Kira is being reckless with her abilities and she cons Jimmy and an employee of her soon to be jail to try and find the crystal.
Kira ends up getting caught at Lex's mansion. By the government guy who is working for Lex but not this time, he uses Kryptonite to weaken and handcuff Kira and shoots Lex with some stun gun.
Back at the 'jail' lab actually he hooks her up to a machine that makes the person tell the truth and a kryptonite IV is hooked up.
More flashbacks back to the Kent house before Kal-El/Clark/Superman arrived and she is talking to Supergirl err Lara (Helen Slater who played Supergirl in the 84 movie)) they seemed to be quite close, she takes a pic and it is hidden behing another picture and then Zor-el shows up and we find out he is up to no good.
Clark breaks in to save the day and starts to weaken from all the kryptonite but lunges himself at the baddie and ko's him for a couple minutes.
As clark goes to rescue Kira he touched a part of the 'truth machine' or whatever it is called and see's Kira's memory...
Zorel accuses Jor-el of stealing her from him, she denies it and says she is with child, a male child, Zorel says he could raise and love him as his own and the two of them could rule earth together. (So this makes me think he was on Zod's side) Kira speaks up and Zorel erases her mind.
Then Clark snaps out of it and the baddie sneaks up behing him with "K" then Lionel shows up just in time and shoots him.
Kira is saved and apologizes and states she will stop living in the past and start making her earth life.
So she goes and takes Jimmy Olsen out to lunch, Chloe seemed jealous, but they have broken up as a couple.
At the very end we see Clark talking to Lana and wanting to tell her all..so he opens up a box and shows her the Crystal with his moms dna in it.
Next weeks looks like another filler as it is repeating a storyline we already seen and that is Clark getting his powers removed and transferred to someone else.
Since it is no secret Michael Rosenbaum has made it very public he will not return for another season after this one, I wonder if this is the year Luther Corp becomes Lex Corp? Will Lionel die this year?
I think it is BS Clark still can not fly, Kira can so he should be able to.
This version of 'Superman' there is far too much Kryptonite plus once he becomes Superman, it won't be a secret to who he really is.
So I guess Clark may try to bring his mother back to life? I wonder if he will ask Jor el?

Well it was a Bizzaro episode and Clark is locked up in ice/glass at the Fortress. I thought he was acting funny and at the end we all saw it was not Clark.
Chloe tells Jimmy the truth and she shows him her 'power'.
Sounds like Braniac will be back.
This season like the last 4 have really sucked actually. ha ha It is hard to do re caps ups when the writing is so bad, especially of late....

Feb 7, 2008 is when it returns in the US and Feb 6 in Canada. 1 week later than originally planned.
I guess that is due to the strike and there are only 6 episodes left unless the writers settle very very soon.

Be a while.  Season 7 is airing on WB now. I dunno if it is renewed for season 8 or not. Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex has been saying for last couple years he won't be back for season 8 other than guest appearances.
I think it is getting pretty lame and silly now and maybe the CW will bring it back for another year, maybe not.
They really changed far too much. So many 'hero's' showing up when in reality with DC Comics Superman was the first. This show does not stick to cannon at all.

really????I don't think that Smallville would be as great as before if Michael Rosenbaum is not partr of it.

| I'm just started re-watching this show again on T4 on sundays, and I must say, it does keep me captivated and interested. Last weeks episode was about a love lipstick, that this girl(forgotten her name) put on and than attracted Clark to fall in love with her. He was kissed, and felt the same way in a sort of evil jealous way, as he went for the girl he once loved, who's getting married to Lex, and is pregnant, but isn't. hmm lol Interesting series.

Like Wednesdays nights only Kara aka Supergirl could save Clark from the Krptonite cage?? Yeah right.
Chloe could of called Oliver and sent Bart aka The Flash (who is actually the 4th Flash except in Smallville) there in seconds and got him out.
Weird how all the other Kryptonians can fly like Kara, Kara's dad,even Clark when he was possessed and even Bizzaro but not Clark..yeah whatever...
Why so much Krptonite in this show? It seems readily available, like to readily available.
Apparently Allison Mack aka Chloe may not be back, but that would not surprise me as no Chloe in any other version but Smallville does not keep to the Superman mythology anyway....
Really how is Superman in this version even going to have a secret identity when so many know who he is and putting glasses on at this late stage won't hide the fact as anyone from Smallville seeing Superman will know it is Clark...unless in this version it is superman wearing the glasses ha ha
