After visiting Huangpu Mountain's Mi Tuo Temple for a Buddhist ceremony, the 16 new Survivors are instructed to leave all of their worldly possessions behind. They are split into two tribes, Fei Long and Zhan Hu, and are each given a copy of Sun Tzu's The Art of War for tribe motivation and assistance throughout the game. In the end, the first Survivor is eliminated.

I love this challenge...I like China too, this country is filled of acient mystery...And it's so amazing that those survivors will challnge the country china...I don't think they can handle that...but still only one survivor will stay...

| Tonight, we will get to see if James is able to think up some way of staying in the game. Maybe in the process he'll get Peih-Gee voted out? That would be great, in my opinion.

Yep, I was extremely happy that James did not get voted off. Next week is the merge, so now James just needs to dominate in the individual immunity challenges (unless they have a few more team-based challenges). I am hoping that Erik, Jaime, and Peih-Gee didn't do what I think they did.
In the previews for next weeks episode, it showed them checking out the HII, just after it seemed like James had pried it off from the archway. If James got it beforehand and they are rummaging through his personal belongings, that is just plain wrong.

Well, I would assume that if he desired to stay in good terms with the Todd alliance, he would have to hand over one of the HIIs.
But, you know what I noticed? The one that Erik, Jaime, and Peih-Gee are looking at in the previews is not an actual HII. It did not have the writing on the back-side, like the other one did. It also had less detail in the design.
Supposedly, there are a total of 4 plaques at each camp. Out of the 4, only one is the actual HII. So, there are 8 plaques in total, and 6 of them are fakes. I hope Erik and group got a fake HII. That'll be pure entertainment if they try and play a fake HII.

Yeah, Leslie had pointed out in her interview about there being 4 pagodas with 4 plaques on them, right in the middle of camp. We may have a classic tribal council coming soon!

| i love the episode where they feature how Chinese natives catch their fish, believe it or not, they use cormorants, a bird specie used for catching fish, in order for these birds not to swaloow the fish, they use grass straws and then tied up in the neck of these birds

| I miss seeing Survivor - I used to watch this years ago when I had a TV. Is it still as good as the original?

I agree Erikko, I think the best episodes are the ones where they show the local culture and have the survivors attempt to use local methods. the results can be very educational... not to mention hilarious.
