I'm watching the race right now - SO MANY crashes taking out all of the top drivers.
Who do you pull for?

I like Matt Kenseth, in the DeWalt, USG, Lexan, Smirnoff, Carhart, Rousch, Fenway, #17 Ford.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Kenseth

You know TV, after watching the Daytona 500, I just gotta say, WTF. It seems like every restrictor plate race ends the same, Green/White/Finish. Matt raced a solid top 10 all day long and was in the top 10 on the last lap. He finished 27th because a couple of squirrels wanted to fight for a little nut.

Man, if California doesn't go better I'm going to just say to hell with NASCAR till the next race.

Go Matt...

I cant believe that Martin FINALLY had a chance to win. He made it through all of the crashes, all of the spin-outs, everything....and then gets beat in the final 50 yards, lol. What a let down.

I'm here and watching. My boy Ryan Newman, (who never wins and I am still unsure why I root for him, lol) is currently in 26th. A bunch of the good drivers are in the 20's with 223 laps to go - so still a lot of racing left.

Quote of the day - RUBBIN' IS RACIN'

see this is where the good guys catch up on these cautions (196 laps to go). Junior just got back on the lead lap.

I like Ryan because of when he bumped Dale Sr. out of his way for the win. I don't remember what race it was but after the race Big D was grumbling, and when the interviewer asked Ryan about it he said " How does he say it, I wasn't trying to wreck him I was just rattling his cage "

:-D)

I have a problem with my boy being in the lead and having to dodge all those squirrels to get out in front.

looks like Stewart is back on top going into the commercial. going to be a big last 1/2 if all of these good drivers can actually stay in the race this week!

Whew, Stewart just took the lead. He can fight those tail end of the lead lap cars.

good one - that site has 85 pages of them and they are everywhere! Back to the race - they are finally getting back to racing with 158 laps to go. Stewart pitting now with Johnson and the rest of leaders. I CAN NOT believe how well Clint Bowyer in the Jack Daniel's car is driving. I know him from a few races and hanging out in the Jack pits in Charlotte (I am friends with the Jack Daniel's brass and go to all of the Charlotte races with them) - he is racing really well right now. And even Blaney, who is last year's Jack car driver, is doing better this year. crazy

Yeah, not bad for a guy that crossed the finish line on his roof last week.

Blaney is from my county. His family owns the Sharon Speedway in Hartford Ohio. About 15 Minutes from here. The media is funny here, every Monday they announce the top 5 and then Dave Blaney. :sigh:
