Did anyone catch Fox's newest gameshow - Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?
The concept is simple, I guess, where you have to go up against a kid and answer fifth grade-level questions (what's a trapazoid?). But the outs are so confusing (Cheats, Peaks and Saves?).. I don't know whether you get a chance to use them or do they automatically use them or what?
It's cute but doomed to fail, I think.

I am boycotting this show. It is a blatant rip off of a Howard Stern (the shock jock now on Sirius) bit that he has been doing for over 20 years.
They talked about it this week on his show and about how much of a rip off it is. Sad

| Game shows just don't do it for me..but it is an in teresting concept. Of course, I learned alot of computer stuff from a fifth grader.

| Haha, this show is SO weird. I did not even like the idea when they marketed this. I mean, if you win it's like "yay, I beat a kid!" If you lose, you're NOT smarter than a 5th grader.

Well, the stupidity of humans never fails to amaze me, myself included.
However, I've never heard of this show- Fox, you say? Never seen any commercials for it.

I have watched this a couple of times, and I really enjoy it.
And the thing is, it really shows you how much useless (or maybe not so useless) information that you have forgotten.
Fun show to watch sometimes....

| Damn, this show is humiliating but entertaining as well. It made me realize that even if your a straight A student at your elementary years, you can still be dumb stupid when you grow up (sigh!) Well i love kyle here.

| I don't know if the show will last, but it is strangely fun to watch! I like how they have the kids there that help (or hurt) you! I have been amazed how stupid adults can be! One didn't even know the month that Fall starts! Good lord! I was yelling at the TV! LOL

OMG! LOL...I forgot to mention that! Yes, you're absolutely right! They did just learn it and will promptly forget that information almost immediately! LOL Which makes it even better when they don't know it! How did they not remember something they just learned? Probably passing notes in class!
