Ehh, I liked T3.  It was not as good as the first two, but it was still extremely entertaining.

This show premiers Sunday January 13th. I still have doubts about it, but I am going watch in the begining and give it a chance.

I don't think it will be as good as the movies. I wonder if my sister knows this series is coming out? She loves the Terminator movies, but she loves them bc she is obsessed with Arnold Schwarzenneger, so I dont' think she'd be too into this show...I'll have to ask her.

Ok, let's be honest. We all know why the series won't be able to compare with the movies...no Arnold, no multi-million dollar budget.

But I have seen series that were actually better than the movie. But it takes a lot of good writing and pretty creative use of camera special effects.

Star Trek!!! And there was another one called "Genesis II" about a man who sleeps to the far future.

Also, "The Twilight Zone" kind of shows what I was talking about. The series, although black and white, was still better than the movie.

well I agree about Star Trek, but it is reversed. the series came first. I thought you meant TV series that came AFTER the movie, and then were better then the movie, lol

lol! Yeah, I tried to come up with one of those, and I thought "The Planet of the Apes" series! Then I thought a little more and realized that that series actually sucked!

Then I realized, "Damn! I'm talking out of the side of my head again!"

So I quickly backpedaled and came up with series that were better before the movie and hoped you wouldn't notice.
:-t

It may last longer than it should due to the writers strike, maybe it would last longer if it was on USA or SCI-FI but I can't see Fox keeping it long and it may get descent ratings Sunday as first episode but it will flop in the end.

apparently the ratings were really big with the football lead in. I have not seen it yet and have it DVR'd. I am going to check it out when I get back from my trip.

Well, I thought it was ok. I'm reserving judgment until I watch a few more episodes. I just wonder how they're going to keep the story arc from becoming a convoluted mess.

Think FOX will kill it like they did Firefly?

(And what is the robot girl's name? I managed to miss it.)

I just watched the first show and love the way it started. Great way to jump us right in with her bad dream. Very nice in my opinion

I also liked how they made John very timid and almost scared. In the future he would become the leader of the resistance, but now, as a teenager he is just a scared kid.
