Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins
After Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust, a group of survivors led by John Connor (Bale) struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.
So Batman is in it playing John Conner. ;) ha ha
I saw this and was excited. Bale might do exactly the same thing with the Terminator movie series that he did with the Batman franchise - REVIVE IT. He is such a good actor at this point, they dont need Arnold anymore if they are going to try to keep it going. they need to go off on another plot line and with new people to keep it going. using Bale, IMO was a very smart move.

Bale is a good actor i think. He is the best 'Batman' I think out of the bunch that played Batman, he plays Batman like Batman should be played and was similar to the Dark Knight: Year One graphic Novels.
Actually the 4th installment seems interesting, I always wanted a future movie where the machines have taken over, I think it will be great.. There has been 3 movies and they had the same premise Save John or Sara....Hopefully the special effects are good too and they do not cheap out, but with Bale in it, I tend to think it will be big budget.

I think it is going to be a huge budget but still some concerns - see http://www.moviecritic.com.au/terminator-4-preview-christian-bale-to-play-john-conner/
not to change the topic back to Batman, BUT have you seen the INCREDIBLE trailers for the new movie coming out - they are amazing. I can not wait.

I wonder since there is apparently only 8 more episodes before this series ends and since it takes place between terminator 2 & 3 are they going to tie it in?
but at least there is 3 more movies planned, so hopefully in the last movie they show whether we beat the 'Machines' or not.
I sort of thought this Sarah Conner Chronicles was silly to be between the second and third movie as we all know what happens, so this series should of started I think after the 3 rd movie...

I agree, but I think most people think the 3rd was so bad that they are almost pretending it did not happen.
and I think most people are assuming the new one with Christian Bale will be so good and well done, that we will all forget about the 3rd one, lol.
The series could keep going on and on with the time between movies 2 and 3 with endless twists.
