Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
How cool does that look? Alan's outside cleaning the pool. I watched the trailer, and then went racing outside to tell him all about it!
Can't wait!

Just had a thought. Did they actually finish filming before Heath Ledger died? Or is this now not going to be released? IMDB says release is 13 August 2008.

they finished the filming BEFORE HE DIED and many people saw that the role, as the completely demented and deranged Joker seriously effected him and might have played a part in his death. I am not sure if that is true, but it has been said

Oh god that's a terrible thing for people to say! But then... when you are famous - there are more people with opinions than there are around us mere mortals.

From the trailer he looked amazing!

Very VERY much looking forward to this movie!

me to. people who worked on the movie said that he was always in character, even after they were done shooting and he was totally obsessed with the character and its dark side. i think it shows in the trailer how demented he looks and sounds. I can't wait.

I would never have called Heath Ledger a great actor... although I thought he was great in both Brokeback Mountain" and "Casanova".

But method actors are the ones that do stand head and shoulders above the others. It's a shame that he died. From what we've seen most recently, he had huge potential.

I'm not going down the hero route. I may make enemies here... but River Phoenix & James Dean never did it for me - yet they are hailed as greats. And all because they died tragically at a young age. These guys should be appreciated for their potential instead of what they actually did.

Actually... that's a whole other thread. I'll go start that then lol.

Yes he finished shooting Batman Begins 2 or the Dark Knight but he was suppose to be in the 3rd one originally and when he was in court was to throw some stuff at DA Harvey Dent and make Harvey Two Face so I guess that will change now unless they recast the role but I dunno if they will or not.
