I'll state this publicly. It is MADDENING to watch the 2 idiots in Paula and Randy not do their jobs of being judges 99% of the time. Paula is completely worthless up there and comments on how they look - who cares. Randy SOMETIMES makes real comments, but then ruins it with the silliness.
Simon, love him or hate him, is the only one honestly doing his job of being a judge and giving real feedback on the performances. Sure he is sometimes harsh, but they deserve it. And when he likes a performance he is equally as positive. It is almost hard to watch the show with the 2 idiots who judge with him.

| yeah I think so, simon does his job very well. very strict in the notes,reality bites, some contestant take it personally , yet they must see as a constructive criticism, to improve their flaws....

Yup, she always do the crying....I didn't see her performance today??Have you seen it??I just saw Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, Amanda Overmyer, David Cook, David Archu, David Hernandez, Brooker White, Kristy Lee Cook performed.
Simons favorite performances was by Brooke, David Cook and Carly...
David Archu is getting and getting bad in his performance for the last two weeks.

| i haven't seen the performance of other contenders but one thing's for sure, Kristy Lee's rendition of Eight Days a Week is the worst of them all. She took Simon's advice wrong when the latter told him to stick to country but then she sounded like a wailing cow

I saw her and she was really bad this week and they told her it was not a good performance. Very boring and uninspired. BUT Kristy Lee's horrible COUNTRY version of the Beatles song was one of the worst in years. She will be kicked off. She was really....really bad.

| When it comes to reinterpreting such a classic band as The Beatles, if it works you're a genius, if it doesn't work you're just a two-bit hack because everybody can compare it to the original. I thought Michael Johns performance was excellent and didn't see why Simon trashed it, telling him he needed to take risks, make it his own style. Then Kristy Lee took the risk, made it her own style, and it bombed spectacularly.

BAD BAD BAD call tonight. It has to be a fix to get the former stripper off the show because while he was not great, he was still WAY better then Kristy Lee, the girl that did the country version of the song.
I think America made a mistake this time, but the hot girl remains on the show for at least another week.

the only thing I can think is that since she is pretty she made it one more week and maybe the "American Idol fix" was in and they got the "stripper" off the show.
