True and Country and western is not that easy to sing... you either got or you ain`t... When Hubby and I ran a Club we had Country and western Nights on Sunday`s..... some were good.. others Emptied the room... so I do know abit about it...

| thank goodness we can finally get back to a TALENT contest. the Sanjaya thing was an incredible waste of all of our time. for all of the hype he will be forgotten in about 10 seconds, if that long. Doolittle is the clear favorite to win it all. she is hands down better then everyone else.

the show last night was a big mess. no one was let go and I think the show may have "jumped the shark". And who else thought that Kelly Clarkson has eaten Ruben Studdard (and maybe Clay Aiken also, lol) since we last saw here???? lol
she was either pregnant or has gone on the reverse Jenny Craig diet because she looked much larger then I remember her. She still sang wonderfully, but i was literally shocked at the tent she was wearing and her apparent new size....

Haha, I agree. Where the heck are the rest of the previous idols? We had Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson...where's everyone else?

| Phil and Chris are gone. It is almost an all female competition now. I am now 100% sure that them not eliminating anyone last week saved Lakisha, who would have been eliminated last week. They can tell me about combined voting all they want, but I think she was saved by the missed week of eliminating someone.

Lakisha is gone and rightfully so.
Interesting conspiracy theory today on the news and radio about the fact that Lakisha's plane tickets and travel arrangements home were already planned BEFORE the announcement show. It is all starting to come out now and I think that this is going to be pretty big if it is proven to be real.

| JUST LIKE CHRIS DAUGHTRY...Doolittle goes out at #3. Very predictable and funny. She will do fine outside of the show, but this was great to watch tonight.

She has a phenomenal voice for a 16-year-old girl. ANd I do agree, American Idol will jumpstart her career just like Chris Daughtry.

I really feel that this was the weakest season EVER. Neither one of them blew me away. Sure Jordan can sing, but her most important performance was not memorable or dramatic like Fantasia or other winners. She is not in the same league as Carrie Underwood, etc. The entire show this season seemed to be a step down in talent, or they just did not pick the talent as well for the final 12. Either way, I do not see Blake ever being a big star, even if he some how wins. Just nothing dynamic and exciting about him at all. And Jordan might have an album or so, but does anyone really see her as a big star?
M. Doolittle will be like Chris and end up being the biggest star of the season, finishing at the #3 spot.
Finally, there are performers in my town playing locally that have the same quality voice as Jorgan, but way more charisma. that is my main problem with this season. Neither one of the final 2 really excited me, or any of the group of people who watched the show with us.

| And not to mention the contestants who did not make it but somehow got publicity that dragged down the image of the contest. C'mon it's a search for an American Idol not America's funniest home videos.
