How can anyone NOT love Emeril?! I'm surprised there's not already a 10 page long thread on him! lol. *BAM!* I've been watching this show for a few years now. I think this is the show that got me into all the other Food Network shows. lol. He is entertaining, and I love the food that he cooks...I mean, of course, I've never tried it, but it all looks soooo good. I wish I really did have smellavision, bc I would be drooling over his show everyday.

Ok, I'll be the first (and probably only) to disagree. I don't much care for Emeril; I find his "BAM!"s annoying. And when he says "Let's kick it up a notch" he usually means make it spicier, and as someone who doesn't like spicy food I don't see that as being the mark of a good cook. Having said that, there have been a few recipes of his that look very tempting... mostly the desserts
