Anyone watching this? It's gripping and wonderful to say the least! I have not been so gripped on an ancient Rome story since PBS aired I Claudius eons ago!
But then again, there is Bob Guccione's Caligula, but that's not exactly family viewing 
Rome starts on HBO this Sunday!

LOL, no Caligula is not family viewing, but neither is this series. It is very good and very involved, so you have to watch pretty regularly to stay up to date on what is going on. I try to watch this every week, or on demand. good show that is consistently well done each week.

It's a nice idea to create "Rome" because we will know more about accient life...It's not only for entertainment, it's educational...I like this show because I was wondering how the Romans ruled their government...
